Fundamentals of Programming

Goal

This course is designed for economics students and provides an introduction to programming in Java. Students will learn how programs are structured and, by the end of the course, will be able to create their own small programs.

Contents

Students learn to create software using the Java programming language in common programming environments. The course is designed for beginners in programming and covers topics such as variable types, control structures with conditional statements and loops, objects, and inheritance. In addition, an overview of software development process models (such as Scrum) is provided to demonstrate how development teams approach software development.
